Weybridge is a town by the River Wey in the Elmbridge region of Surrey. It is based toward the north of the River Thames at the mouth of the Wey, from which it gets its name. It is a distant rural town inside the Greater London Urban Area, around 7 miles (11 km) upper east of Woking and 16 miles (25 km) southwest of London. Land costs are well over the national normal: starting 2008, six of the ten most costly avenues in South East England were in Weybridge.
The Town, in view of its area limits, has three distinct areas or can be partitioned into the Thames Street and town focus range, the Queens Road territory on top of Monument Hill, and a large portion of Brooklands and St George’s Hill. Inside the post town, as opposed to the town’s different limits is Oatlands or Oatlands Village.
Weybridge is the British base camp of Alliance Boots, CHEP UK, Sony Corporation, Procter and Gamble, JTI (previously Gallaher) and Toshiba Information Systems.
It is also home to a thriving Retail High Street which caters to the needs to the local population. Nearby towns include Walton on Thames, Esher and Byfleet.
